Die Polizei Berlin hat zwei mutmaßliche Fahrraddiebe in Berlin-Hellersdorf festgenommen. Am Samstagmorgen meldeten Zeugen der Polizei, dass ein 31-jähriger Mann mehrere Fahrräder in einen Transporter in der Stendaler Straße lud. Die herbeigerufenen Polizisten entdeckten daraufhin fünf hochwertige Fahrräder in dem Fahrzeug. Der mutmaßliche Täter gab an, die Räder von einem 40-jährigen Mann gekauft zu haben. Bei der Überprüfung stellte sich jedoch heraus, dass eines der Fahrräder als gestohlen registriert war. Der rechtmäßige Besitzer holte es kurze Zeit später ab und berichtete zudem, dass ihm auch ein Reifensatz gestohlen wurde.
