Pharma Germany has founded a new national association in Bavaria to further strengthen its presence in the federal states. At the founding event in Pullach near Munich, Dr. Günter Auerbach from Dr. Nurser Arzneimittel GmbH from Bamberg elected chairman.

The Landesverband Bavaria is part of the new structure of Pharma Germany, which comprises a total of six regional associations under the roof of the Association of Chemical Industry (VCI). This organization enables a more effective advocacy representation at the state and federal level as well as more intensive networking of member companies. The newly founded state association represents the interests of 85 member companies from the pharmaceutical industry.
The Pharma Deutschland e.V. is the largest industry association of the pharmaceutical industry in Germany. He represents the interests of around 400 member companies that employ around 80,000 employees in Germany. The companies organized in Pharma Deutschland e.V. make a significant contribution to securing the supply of drugs in Germany. They provide almost 80 percent of the over -the -counter -free and almost two thirds of the prescription drugs as well as a large part of the material medical devices for patients.
