PEI and BMG: No laboratory diagnostic test for DNA contamination in mRNA vaccines

As a citizen of Berlin, you are careful to always be informed and to attentive developments in health policy. Recently, an answer from the Paul-Ehrlich Institute (PEI) provided an inquiry from doctors for individual vaccination decision e. V. (äfi) for a stir. The äfi had asked the PEI to carry out laboratory diagnostic tests for the identification of DNA contamination in the mrNA vaccines of Pfizer/Biontech and Moderna after contamination with fragments and bacterial plasmids had been demonstrated in scientific work.

The Pei's answer was sobering. It became clear that the PEI does not carry out its own laboratory diagnostic exams to determine DNA contaminants in the vaccines, but only limits itself to a paper test. These exams are limited to the review of the values transmitted by the manufacturer to correctness and resilience.

The fact that the PEI does not carry out its own experimental examinations and instead rely on the information from the vaccine manufacturers raises legitimate concerns. The population is concerned about the safety and purity of the vaccines, especially in view of the possible effects on health.

It is disturbing to find out that a Federal Ober authority, like the PEI, does not feel responsible to check the safety and purity of the vaccines independently, but leave control to the manufacturers. This raises questions about the medical standard and the interpretation of responsibility.

The answer of the PEI and the non -transparency regarding the test protocols and batch tests are worrying and require for an in -depth examination to restore the trust of the population into the vaccination campaign.

The Berlin citizen is concerned about information policy and the dealing with the federal government with these significant questions. The refusal of the Federal Minister of Health Karl Lauterbach to react to official inquiries according to the Freedom of Information Act (IFG) throws a disturbing light on the openness and transparency of the government.

It is time that the population receives clear and reliable information about the safety and purity of the vaccines. The Pei's answer and the lack of reaction from the Federal Minister of Health not only raise questions about vaccine control, but also with regard to the transparency and openness of government policy. As attentive citizens, we should continue to work for clear answers and transparency in this important health area.
