volunteer engagement in Pankow: appreciation and recognition for the community

Volunteering plays an important role in Pankow's community. People of all ages are committed to the well -being of others on their own drive and make a valuable contribution to strengthening the cohesion. This selfless action deserves recognition and appreciation, which is why the district council (BVV) Pankow awards the honorary award every year.

The Pankower volunteer award 2024 is available for a leak again, and until October 31, 2024 there is the possibility to propose meritorious people, initiatives and groups for this award. The submitted proposals should highlight the impressive commitment of the volunteers in the district and make their valuable work accessible to the public.

who can be nominated?
People who have been active on a voluntary basis for at least three years can be proposed for the Pankower volunteer award. It is important that the nominations are submitted by other people and that self -applications cannot be taken into account. Initiatives and groups that work for environmental and sports issues are intended for separate honors and are therefore excluded from the nomination.

The selection of the award winners: Inside by a jury, consisting of members of all factions of BVV Pankow. The announcement of the winners of the Voluntary Award 2024 will take place as part of a festive event on November 29, 2024, in which the voluntary commitment is duly celebrated.

If you also know a person, an initiative or a group that is particularly committed to the community in Pankow, do not hesitate to submit a nomination to the district council's office. Let us shared the performance of the volunteers and make their commitment visible.
