Ukrainian musicians rock Pankow - friendship concert in the Weißenseer Kulturzentrum!

Young talents of the music schools Riwne and Belá Bartók combined on September 17th into a unique friendship concert in the Weißenseer "Bildungs and Kulturzentrum Peter Edel". This outstanding event is presented as part of the Weißensee cultural summer and accompanied by talents of the partner cities of Pankow and other regions.

The young musicians will find an insight into the German music industry during their stay in Berlin. In addition to rehearsal visits to renowned orchestras, you have the opportunity to deepen your skills in master classes at the Berlin Carl-Philipp-Emanuel-Bach-Gymnasium. This cross -border exchange program helps to build personal relationships between the participants and to strengthen the city twinning.

The district mayor of Pankow, Dr. Cordelia Koch, emphasizes the importance of such encounters for the city and is happy about the friendship concert as an enrichment of cultural life in Pankow. The concert will present works by important composers such as Beethoven, Dvořák, Skoryk and Bortnianski, as well as perform a special composition by Franz-Michael Deimling, which was created especially for the Weißensee cultural summer.

A bandura trio from Riwne will also offer traditional Ukrainian songs to inspire the audience. In order to support the exchange program financially, donations are requested to the district fund Pankow. The generous support from the school support association at the Falkplatz, the Gesobau Foundation and the initiative "Europe Prykhystok" makes this cultural exchange possible.

The connection between music, culture and friendship is the focus of this special concert, which not only celebrates the musical diversity, but also promotes cross -border cooperation and communication. An evening full of sound highlights and cultural connection awaits visitors on September 17th in the Weißensee Kulturzentrum. Secure your places for this musical highlight in good time!
