Refurbishment of the B 189: traffic disruptions awaited by September 2024!
The construction work in Brandenburg increases increasingly, as recently emerging from various press releases. In Eichwalde, where the renovation of the passage on Zeuthener Strasse began in September 2024, engineers discovered unexpected challenges. The lower layers of the road were not sustainable enough, which required a technical solution. Despite these complications, the work is continued on schedule and should be completed by September 2025. However, commuters between Grünau and Königs Wusterhausen have to prepare for extended travel times, such as berlin.de
b 189 under full closure
At the same time, the focus is on the federal road B 189 between Perleberg and Pritzwalk, where the renovation work will begin on July 22, 2024. This measure includes a 6 -kilometer section, which is handled in sections under full closure. In the first construction phase between the Perleberg Ost and Rohlsdorf junction, the work is planned from July 22nd to August 8, 2024. Here, the traffic from Perleberg is diverted via the B 5 and B 107. From September 2, a further renovation will take place between Groß Pankow and Pritzwalk West, which will also significantly influence the traffic flows. The total construction measures should be completed by the end of September, which forces road users again to use alternative routes, such as ls.brandenburg.de
