art exhibition "Is situation" provides an insight into the challenges of studio artists: inside

The art exhibition "Is situation" in the town hall Pankow offers a fascinating insight into the work reality of seven studio artists until October 31: inside. The cooperation with the Artspring Network made it possible to the works of Anja Asche, Anja Ehrenberg, H.H. Twenty, Walter Santori, Blanche Bra, Lapo Simeoni and Susanne Knaack.

background:
Many artists: Inside, the open studios in Pankow were not able to take part in the weekend either because they lost their work rooms. Rising rents, dismissals and reconciliations of the studios are just a few of the challenges that artists face. It is the situation of many artists: inside is characterized by uncertainty and restrictions on their artistic freedom.

The exhibition in the Pankow town hall shows not only the artists' works of art: inside, but also texts that describe their individual actual situation. Visitors: Inside, there is a deep insight into the difficulties with which studio artists are confronted: on the inside. From working on the kitchen table to overcrowded apartments as material warehouse - the realities are diverse and challenging.

The exhibition can be viewed on the 1st floor of the Pankow town hall during opening hours. From Monday to Friday, interested visitors have the opportunity to discover the works of the artists: inside 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Admission to the exhibition is free.
