Children's festival at the Zeiss Grand Planetarium: Music, Painting and Fun!
This year's celebration for the International Children's Day is under the motto "The world is round and Pankow Bunt" and will take place on May 29, 2024 from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Zeiss Grand Planetarium in Prenzlauer Allee 80, 10405 Berlin. Together with their families, children of all ages are cordially invited to use the diverse offer, the music, painting, tinkering and designing, exploring and discovering, dancing and making music as well as a mobile voting cabin for the U16 elections. The program is designed by various cooperation partners such as the Verein Spielkultur Berlin-Buch e.V., the Prenzlauer Berg district center, the Stephanus Foundation and other youth organizations.
The district mayor Dr. Cordelia Koch and the youth councilor Rona Tietje will be present at the children's festival. Ms. Tietje will moderate a movement quiz in which questions about children's rights, community, solidarity, democracy, the Internet and the youth welfare office are asked. The quiz is aimed at children aged seven to twelve and offers attractive prices. The physical well -being is taken care of with snacks, ice and drink.
The children's festival offers young Berliners the opportunity to playfully deal with important topics and to be creatively active. It promotes the community and the understanding of the rights of the children. The event is a highlight in the Pankow district, which attracts numerous visitors every year.
