Women walk: Discover the impressive women from Pankow Süd!
Next Saturday, September 28, 2024, district mayor Dr. Cordelia Koch all interested parties for a special walk. The women's neighborhood walk in the Pankow Süd district is all about outstanding women who are honored by road racing or plaques.
A highlight of the walk are the women's personalities presented such as the Swedish philanthropine Elsa Brandström, the legendary actresses Greta Garbo and Asta Nielsen, as well as the writers Inge Müller and Selma Lagerlöf. The geriatress Gertrud Hanna is also brought into focus.
The meeting point for the participants is at 2:00 p.m. in the Heinz-Knobloch-Park, on the corner of Berliner Straße / Masurenstraße in 13187 Berlin. The walk will take about two hours, and participation is free of charge, a pre -registration is not required.
This event is part of the women's neighborhood walks, an initiative of the equal opportunities officer of the Pankow district office and the "Searching of Traces" working group of the Pankow women's advisory board. It promises an informative and inspiring afternoon with exciting insights into life and work remarkable women.
