Financial support for voluntary projects in Pankow: Submit applications now by April 2024

From now on, voluntary initiatives and projects that want to contribute to improving the public infrastructure in the Pankow district can apply for financial support from the district office. A total of 77,800 euros from the Senate Department for Urban Development, Building and Living are available to the district as part of the Voluntary Commitment in Neighborhoods (Fein). The funds are used for various areas of public infrastructure such as green spaces, youth clubs, schools and more, whereby the district office has already decided to distribute.

Volunteers can submit their applications by April 15, 2024. Activities are promoted to upgrade and improve schools, sports areas, daycare centers, youth clubs, public playgrounds, senior and district centers, neighborhood meeting, self-help contacts, public roads and places as well as green spaces. The funded measures include renovations, repairs, plantings and similar work, for which materials are required. Applications can be submitted informally by post and should contain the purpose, type, scope, time frame and costs of the planned measure. In addition, information about the IBAN, BIC and telephone number of the center receiver is required. Further information on the Voluntary Commitment in Neighborhoods (Fein) project is available.
