NFL legend o.J. Simpson dies at the age of 76
o.j. Simpson, who was acquitted from suspicion of murder three decades ago, died of cancer at the age of 76, as his family announced. He died surrounded by his children and grandchildren. Simpson, born on July 9, 1947 in San Francisco, showed sporty talent early on and achieved records at the University of Southern California. When professional successfully in the NFL for the San Francisco 49ers and the Buffalo Bills, he became a sympathizer after his career, played in films and television series and commented on sports events.
The year 1994 marked a turning point when the corpses of his ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend Ron Goldman were found in Los Angeles. After a live chase shown on television with the police, Simpson was arrested. Surprisingly acquitted in a process of in 1995, he was later blamed for death in a civil proceedings and sentenced to a compensation.
Another incident in 2008 led to a conviction of 33 years in prison in Nevada for armed robbery and assault. After his early discharge in 2017, Simpson lived in the public in Las Vegas.
