Critical reflection in the gallery in the hall building: Redemption Maybe
The exhibition "Redemption Maybe" by Mariona Berenguer in the gallery in the hall building in a poetic and critical manner addresses the importance of (artistic) work in our society. In addition to securing the existence and satisfaction of needs, work is also seen as a source of self -esteem and self -fulfillment, including the salvation of guilt and debt. The exhibition, which will open on May 17, 2024, shows sculptures, graphics, textiles and installations to create a space of deceleration and reflection. The values and belief systems are questioned on which our work culture is based. The different working groups in the exhibition illuminate the creative, physical and expressive forces that work in the work culture.
The exhibition runs from May 18 to July 28, 2024 in the gallery in the Saalbau in Berlin. Interested parties can contact Clara.vonschwerin@bezirkamt-neukoelln.de for inquiries and images.
