Concert Command in Nordpark: Free music fun for everyone!

The upcoming cultural highlights in Berlin Neukölln promise a lot of joy for residents and visitors. Amidst the lively atmosphere of the city, the concert series “Your Summer (in the Park)” will take place in the Rudow women's quarter. The event will take place in the Nordpark next to the Ritterburg playground at Ursulinenstraße 14, 12355 Berlin, and runs from August 31st to September 21st, 2025, every Sunday.

The concerts always start at 5 p.m., while the warm-up program including workshops starts at around 3 p.m. The explanations of the planned events and their attractions were presented in detail at berlin.de. On August 31, 2025, little guests can expect a children's rave with electronic music at a child-friendly volume, complemented by crafts and face painting. A week later, on September 7th, the “Red Chucks” will perform at a swing concert, accompanied by a children's storytelling and adventure workshop.

Cultural diversity in Rudower Nordpark

On September 14th, the mood will be heated up with a reggae concert by the “Downtown Steppas”, for which a drumming workshop with Bouba Diakité is planned. The finale will be a concert by the Zentralkapelle Berlin on September 21st, which has the motto “Hits from film music and brass music”. Workshops and a children's theater with “Mimi and Gaston” are also offered here from 3 p.m. All concerts are free of charge and the project is organized by the Culture Department of the Neukölln District Office in collaboration with Nino's Eiscafé and supported by the District Culture Fund of the Senate Department for Culture and Social Cohesion.

Another outstanding event that takes place in May is the Rudow Spring Mile. This event spans the weekend of May 10-11, 2025 and begins at 12 p.m. daily. Admission will be free in Alt Rudow on Krokusstrasse and there will be over 100 stands and three stages, ensuring a varied program. These will include children's carousels, play shops and a wide range of food and drinks, as gratis-in-berlin.de reports.

Open-air culture in Berlin

There are also numerous other open-air events in the capital that enrich the summer. Berlin offers a variety of events to enjoy the outdoor season to the fullest. These include the “Sky Sounds” open air and many regular events such as the open air sessions at Birgit&Bier or the Hypegarten Open Air at ŒLGARTEN. The cultural offering is rounded off by open-air cinemas, parties and markets, which also characterize the colorful city landscape, as illustrated on rausgehen.de.

The combination of concerts, festivals and the city's lively atmosphere promises a variety of unforgettable experiences for all Berliners and their visitors in the coming autumn and summer. Be ready to celebrate the cultural richness of Neukölln and Berlin!
