The renowned contemporary artist Bernd Zimmer presents his latest works in an exhibition in the Berlin branch of Degussa Goldhandel. Room is one of the most important contemporary artists in Germany and his works are about the constantly changing nature, color, air and light as well as flowing water and the cosmos. He is inspired by nature and paints his pictures on the floor by letting the color flow down from above and distributing them with wide brushstroke.

Bernd Zimmer became known in 1980 as a “new wild” and achieved international recognition through the “Violent Painting” exhibition in Berlin. The exhibition in the Berlin branch of Degussa Goldhandel shows a representative cross -section of Zimmer's work and some of its latest, previously unpublished work. Christian Rauch, CEO of Degussa Goldhandel, is pleased to be able to present the renowned artist in Berlin, the city in which the “new wild” began.

The exhibition will take place from June 22nd to September 30, 2024 during the opening hours of the Berlin Degussa branch and admission is free.
