New Mobility Council in Lichtenberg: Freedom and Inclusion in focus
In the living district of Lichtenberg, a new committee is launched: the mobility council. This will not only take over the concerns of the existing "bicycle", but also include the concerns of all citizens who move on foot or by bike in the district. The district office invites associations, groups and interested individuals to actively get involved in the mobility council and thus help shape the design of the mobile infrastructure.
Filiz Keküllüoğlu, district councilor for traffic, green spaces, order, environment and nature conservation, emphasizes the importance of the new body: "It is particularly important to us to ensure security and smooth traffic for vulnerable road participants in public space.
