According to the information from BILD, a man named Harald Burkart was managed from 2014 to April 2018 in the AfD district association Baden-Baden/Rastatt (Baden-Württemberg). The date of birth recorded there coincides with that of Harald Burkart. However, it should be noted that the application for admission was made online.

reports from last year reveal that Burkart became a member of the Jusos and the SPD at the age of 14. Nevertheless, after only two years he went out of the party. In July of last year, Burkart decided against working with the AfD, both at the federal, state and local level.

After his election, eight of the twelve JU district chairs appeared against the recognition of his choice, since they expressed doubts about the presence of sufficient members in the proper election. Now it is due to the Federal Arbitration of the JU to clarify the legality of the election.

The Berlin CDU critically commented on Burkart, accused him of the party -loving behavior and imposed a reference to him. A Cologne law firm, which represents Burkart, claims that he was never a member of the AfD or paid a contribution to the party. Nevertheless, the mood within the Berlin CDU remains tense, with critics Burkart asked to put his office down to save the JU further damage.
