New educational location in Karlshorst: Seepark elementary school opened!

Karlshorst, Berlin, Deutschland - On October 11, 2023, the new Seepark elementary school in Berlin-Karlshorst was ceremoniously opened. The modern educational institution offers space for a total of 432 students and is already occupied with 308 children. The new building, which was built as part of the Berlin school building offensive, includes a 3-field sports hall and a green outdoor area, which is to be completed by the end of the year. High -ranking representatives of the Berlin administration were present at the opening ceremony, including Alexander Slotty, State Secretary for Building, and Dr. Torsten Kühne, State Secretary for School Building.

The innovative concept of the school provides for flexible use of space through a modular design. The so -called "commperpses" enable modern and customizable learning environment with community facilities and specialist rooms on the ground floor, while the classrooms are housed on the upper floors. State Secretary Slotty emphasized the importance of this school as a modern place of learning, which also takes into account the requirements for accessibility and inclusive education.
