New study confirms: Myrrh repairs intestinal barriers and relieves indigestion
In chronic bowel diseases such as irritable bowel, ulcerative colitis or Crohn's disease, the intestinal barrier plays an important role. A disturbed intestinal barrier can cause harmful substances and microorganisms to the body and cause indigestion such as diarrhea, flatulence and cramps. A current laboratory examination of the Charité Berlin has shown that the pharmaceutical plant Myrrh can stabilize the disturbed intestinal barrier and counteract the dying of intestinal cells during an inflammatory process. Earlier examinations have already shown that Myrrhe can stabilize the intestinal barrier both individually and in combination with coffee coal as well as the Budesonide cortisone preparation. This effect can be used in the treatment of chronic bowel diseases.
A disturbed intestinal barrier, also called "leaky good", is associated with various bowel diseases and allergies. It is therefore advisable to have the condition of the intestinal barrier checked in the event of continuing indigestion. A new examination method called "Confocal Laser Endomicroscopy" enables gastroenterologists to identify damage to the intestinal barrier in 1,000 times. If damage is determined, it makes sense to stabilize the intestinal barrier. The pharmaceutical plant Myrrh has a sealing effect on the intestinal barrier, including stabilizing the locks of the intestinal mucosa. Myrrh has been used for the treatment of gastrointestinal disorders together with chamomile and coffee coal for over 60 years. Numerous research has shown that this plant combination has an anti -inflammatory, antispasmodic and flatulence -relieving effect and can stabilize the intestinal barrier.
A list of 13 intestinal centers in which the confectional laser endomicroscopy is carried out can be found at www.myrrrhinil.de/darmgesundheit/darm examination.
For irritable bowel patients there is a new online guide area called irritable bowel compass on www.myrrrhinil.de/ratgeber/reizdarm-kompass. Here RDS patients can find comprehensive information on the right nutrition, proven treatment methods and practical tips on dealing with everyday situations.
