New loneliness officer in Reinickendorf: Katharina Schulz takes over the first municipal full -time position

Katharina Schulz becomes Reinickendorf's new loneliness officer

In Reinickendorf there is a significant change in combating loneliness: Katharina Schulz will take over the first municipal full -time position of a loneliness officer. You will perform this task coordinating, in addition to her role as district volunteer officers, for whom she will receive a clerk as support.

The personnel change was necessary because the previous loneliness officer will divide from office at the end of the month. Despite this change, all ongoing projects are continued on the subject of loneliness. The district is preparing intensively for its next loneliness summit on December 16.

Another focus is on the establishment of "Quasseltreff benches". On Thursday, July 11th, two new benches will be set up on the Greenwich promenade and on Kolpingplatz. These should serve as meeting points and help to reduce loneliness in the community.
