The Humboldt Library in Berlin opens the second half of the year with an impressive musical start. On Thursday, September 5th at 7:30 p.m., the talented singer and actress Patricia Prawit will present her new reading concert "Night Thoughts". Known for her representation of Marlene Dietrich in a glamorous gala show, Prawit will show another side of the immortal myth of Marlene in this concert.

The visitors can expect a fascinating mix of anecdotes, pictures and pieces of music by Friedrich Holländer as well as songs by Edith Piaf, Gilbert Bécaud and Hildegard Knef. This performance gives insights into lesser-known facets of the exceptional artist and will certainly inspire the audience.

In addition to this extraordinary start, the Reinickendorf City Library offers other highlights in the event calendar. On September 13th at 7.30 p.m., music lovers can look forward to a special experience: the Bardomaniacs appear on the Seewiese behind the Humboldt library to inspire with their unique mix of polka, tegel and thriller.

The compositions mostly come from the feather of the talented accordion player and band founder Bardo Henning, who will enchant the listeners with melodies, rhythms and songs from different cultures.

On September 14 from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m., the children's and youth choir and the string ensemble "Sinfonietta" of the Reinickendorf music school will present their musical skills in the Humboldt library. Under the motto "Lists! Do you hear the music?" show the young talents their repertoire from classical to folk and pop to film music.

A special highlight will be the joint concert of children and adolescents aged 5 to 16, which will surely provide touching and rousing moments.
