Sustainable ideas for the future: Agyle program combines young leaders in Berlin
Common progress in the circular economy: Agyle network relies on cooperation
In a remarkable initiative, 40 young leaders from Ethiopia, Ghana, Rwanda, Tunisia, Senegal and Germany in Berlin gather in a remarkable initiative. This meeting is entitled "Agyle" (African German Young Leaders in Business) and has set itself the goal of finding solutions for sustainable economic transformation through increased networking and cooperation.
The overarching topic of this year's event is the "Circular Economy", ie the circular economy, which aims to use resources as efficiently as possible and minimize waste. Young managers who are at the forefront of social and ecological changes bring their experiences and ideas to steer the economy in a more sustainable direction.
A central element of the Agyle program is the exchange between African and German start-ups, which enables the participants: inside to learn from each other and develop ideas that go beyond national borders. There are special personalities: a social entrepreneur from Rwanda who supports women and girls through access to health services, and a German founder who has launched a recycled platform that creates the incentive for a circular business.
The magazine "Connecting Young Leaders with VC and Industry" will host joint discussions and workshops during the event, in which important personalities such as Siegfried Russwurm, President of the Federal Association of German Industry (BDI e.V.), will also take part. The exchange with industry representatives and investors will give the participants: open new perspectives and promote collaborations that defy earlier ideas.
The President Russwurm emphasizes the opportunities that this gathering for future economic relationships offers: " agylle shows how African and German managers can work together to find new ways. Only through strong cooperation can we overcome the global challenges and shape a sustainable future ."
The Agyle network now comprises 160 outstanding talents from various industries - from digital technology to green innovations to agriculture. This variety of experiences and backgrounds represents a valuable contribution to the development of future -proof solutions.
The Agyle network is supported in cooperation with the agency for economy and development (AWE) and "Germany-Land of Ideas", funded by the Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).
