Diversity and openness: town hall on site on Leopoldplatz
The district mayor of Mitte, Stefanie Remlinger, announced the second edition of the “Rathaus on site” event series, which will take place on May 28 on Leopoldplatz. This event falls on the nationwide diversity day and is under the motto "Employee acquisition and diversity". The aim is to bring the district administration closer and to give the citizens an insight into the daily work in the town hall. The results of the symbol selection Berlin-Mitte are also presented.
The event will last from 2 to 6 p.m. and includes information stands, speeches, music and actions. District institutions such as the music school, adult education center and libraries are presented. There is also talk about career opportunities in the administration. The participants have the opportunity to discover the diversity of the Mitte district and actively deal with the administration.
The results of the symbol election Berlin-Mitte are presented for the first time and discussed together with the EU representative. The perspectives of active electoral offices, symbol voters: inside and initiatives on the subject of voting rights and citizenship are highlighted.
