The student budget 2025 offers students the opportunity to actively participate in decision -making processes and take responsibility. The district councilor for school and sport, Benjamin Fritz, informs about the exciting project that promotes participation in schools.

Schools in Mitte have the opportunity to take part in an election and to decide on a budget of 4,000 euros. This democratic process is expected to be promoted over three years. All public schools in district sponsors, including primary schools, integrated secondary schools, high schools, community schools and schools with special educational funding, are eligible to participate.

In addition to financial support, schools receive pedagogical support from the youth participation service center.
