New opening of Kita Ackerstrasse: More space for children in Berlin-Mitte

The district councilor Christoph Keller informs about the successful renovation and structural expansion of the daycare center at Ackerstrasse 60 in close cooperation with kindergartens City as a sponsor and own company of the state of Berlin. Due to the extensive construction and renovation work, the daycare center was able to increase its space by 70 places, which represents an important contribution to securing and expanding the urgently needed daycare places in the Mitte district. The functional rooms were conclusively expanded and implemented, including with a studio, installation space and movement rooms. Mechanical cooling also ensures heat protection in summer.

City Councilor Christoph Keller emphasizes the importance of scope and opportunities for children to take important development steps. He is happy about the new opening and the additional capacities that the children's day care center now provides. Claudia Freistühler, commercial manager of kindergartens City, is also enthusiastic about the results of the expansion and renovation work. The light-flooded premises and modern equipment enable the educator team to design the pedagogical work according to the interests of the children.

This new opening has a positive impact on the local community, since it improves the availability of daycare centers and offers children the opportunity to develop in new and modern premises. The close cooperation between public bodies and private providers shows that cooperations can realize important projects that benefit the entire community.

A table with information on the extended capacity, the functional extensions and the technical equipment of the daycare center could be a useful addition to give a quick overview of the innovations.
