New discourse room in Mitte: Gallery Weisser Elefant becomes art room center

The district mayor of Mitte, Stefanie Remlinger, recently announced that the Gallery Weisser elephant is now operating under the name Kunst Raum Mitte. The gallery was founded in East Berlin in 1987 and has long been considered a place for subversive art that questioned the conventional concept of art.
