From May 2, 2024, appointments for applying for personnel documents can be arranged by phone via the citizens' phone under number (030) 115. The ID documents are then applied to in the Osloer Straße Citizens' Office. The opening times vary depending on the day of the week and a discussion is only possible with a previous appointment.

The following documents are required for the application: naturalization certificate with a supplementary sheet, current biometric passport photo and the bank card. The district councilor emphasized that this new service -oriented offer enables faster and uncomplicated application for the necessary personnel documents. In addition, further new locations for citizens' offices are to be created in Berlin in order to shorten the waiting times for appointments.
