Levetzowgirls present future visions in Berolina-Galerie

The district mayor of Mitte, Stefanie Remlinger, announced that the Berolina Gallery in the town hall in the middle of May 10th to 17th will show the exhibition "Arrived-to the Future" of the Levetzowgirls. The Levetzowgirls are a group of young girls from the emergency accommodation in Levetzowstrasse, who joined together in 2016 and discovered their passion for singing and the visual art. By founding a choir, they could not only learn the German language through music, but also create their hopes and dreams creatively. The exhibition will present collagen (mixed media) that represent your future visions for Berlin Mitte.

The vernissage takes place on May 10, 2024 at 5:00 p.m. in the Berolina Gallery in the Mitte town hall. There will be a buffet and the Levetzowgirls will appear live. The greeting is carried out by District Councilor Christoph Keller and BVV head Jelisaweta Kamm.

The music choir of the Levetzowgirls was accompanied and motivated by the Integration Bund Mitte association. The girls who fled from Syria, Iraq and Afghanistan have not only sung into the hearts of people through their appearances, but also drove their personal career with pride and ambition. Some now attend high school and provide excellent performance, while others already study or take on vocational training.

The exhibition "Arrived - In the Future" not only offers space for artistic representation and creative forms of expression, but also for social discourses and political statements. With their art, the Levetzowgirls set a sign against right -wing and ethnic ideologies and see their exhibition as a protest against the possible remigration of well -trained refugees.

The exhibition of the Levetzowgirls in the Berolina Gallery in the Mitte town hall is a unique opportunity to get to know the artistic works and the stories behind the girls. It is an event that not only celebrates cultural diversity, but is also a strong testimony to integration and cohesion in society. Visitors are invited to visit the exhibition and to be inspired by the impressive creations of the Levetzowgirls.
