About the DRK Clinics Berlin-Mitte
The DRK Clinics Berlin-Mitte offer modern acute care and specialized medical services. The plan is to merge the facilities with the clinics in Westend, whose renovation work will begin in 2026. Until then, the current supply will remain unchanged.
Facility specialties include a pulmonary clinic with over 100 beds, a multidisciplinary vascular center, a diabetes center and a digestive disease area. As an academic teaching hospital of the Charité, it also cooperates with the DRK Sisterhood Education Center to qualify future nursing staff.
The DRK Kliniken Berlin-Mitte has received several awards, for example for the best hospitals in the category “150 to under 300 beds” by the F.A.Z. Institute in 2019, and again in the departments of vascular surgery, internal medicine and thoracic surgery in 2020. The location also received the quality seal “Clinic with Diabetes in Mind DDG” from Deutsche Diabetes Society.
Various transport connections are available to get to the clinics, including subway lines, trams and buses. The Osloer Straße stop is about 200 meters away from the clinic entrance.
