International Fathal Day in Mitte: Fathers celebrate modern paternity
On June 16, the International Fathal Day will be celebrated in many countries, which was appointed day in Switzerland ten years ago. This day is intended to encourage fathers to think about traditional role models and the compatibility of work and family. The International Fathal Day is also celebrated for the fourth time in a row in the Mitte district.
From June 14th to 16th, there are numerous events in the Mitte district that invite you to discuss modern paternity or simply have fun with other fathers and families. Among other things, Bobby-Car Races, a Lego workshop for fathers and their children as well as several family celebrations are offered. A complete overview of the activities can be found on the website of the fathers' center.
The district councilor for youth, family and health, Christoph Keller, emphasizes the importance of a loving and sustainable relationship with one's own children as well as a fair division of educational and household tasks. The International Fathers Day not only offers the opportunity to exchange ideas with other fathers, but also opportunities to experience beautiful moments together with the children. A highlight is the "Papa Viewing" of the EM opening game.
The celebrations for the International Fathers Day in Mitte not only offer the opportunity to reflect on modern fatherhood, but also to celebrate family and community together. All fathers and families who want to take part in the activities are welcome
