Community -oriented Kieze in Berlin Mitte - Successful district forum brings together citizens' initiatives.

According to a report by www.berlin.de, the annual district forum took place on October 20, 2023 in the BVV Hall of the City Hall Mitte. Over 30 participants from citizens' initiatives, neighborhood groups, district associations and district centers were present to get into conversation with the representatives of the district policy and the district administration.

The event entitled "Common good-oriented Kieze" began with a lecture on the social situation in the neighborhoods by the district health and social reporter Ms. Gille. Afterwards there was a lively exchange. Overview maps were also presented that showed the active initiatives, funding opportunities and district projects in the districts of Mitte.

After a break with snack bar, various topics such as "common good -oriented use - social infrastructure", "Future Kiez Gesundbrunnen", "climate -adapted Kieze", "funding opportunities for initiatives" and "Participation in the neighborhood - support of the initiatives" were discussed.
