Funding for green projects: Now do with in the middle!

Environmental education in the Mitte district is given a new boost! As district councilor Christopher Schriner announced, an action fund is set up, which in particular supports smaller institutions with up to 10,000 euros. The aim is to promote projects that strengthen environmental awareness and work for city nature, climate protection or sustainability. The funding amount can be used for various projects, including clean-ups or cooking workshops that will be realized from September 2025 to the end of 2026. As reported, interested parties can submit their applications via email by March 31, 2025.

Especially on projects that are across generations and promote inclusion is placed. After a formal examination, the action fund jury will decide on the allocation of the funds. Schriner said: "I am pleased that, despite the Berlin cuts, we can continue to offer financial support". At a time when environmental and climate issues are becoming more and more urgent, this is an important step for cooperation between different actors and institutions.

sustainability in agriculture

The topic of the environment is also significantly treated beyond the borders of Berlin. In Switzerland, sustainable, animal -friendly and high -quality food production is paid to. The farmers play a central role in this-they are not only responsible for the preservation of food supply, but also for the protection of the cultural landscape, as the reports makes it clear . The need for equilibrium between entrepreneurial freedom and community support is emphasized. In these uncertain times, the party calls for the middle investments in the protection of biodiversity and promotion of innovations in agriculture in order to be able to ensure sustainable production in the future.

Environmental and climate issues are increasingly becoming the focus in both Berlin and Switzerland. While projects for environmental education are promoted in the Mitte district, agriculture in Switzerland is fighting for ecological standards and sustainability to ensure the quality of life for future generations.
