Dedicated heroes of the Mitte district: awarded honorary office 2024
In a solemn ceremony, committed people were recently honored for their voluntary work in Berlin Mitte. The event took place in the Heilandskirche as part of the "Day of Volunteering" and aimed to honor the significant contributions of the volunteers.
The long -term cooperation of some people in the district social commissions was particularly emphasized, where they actively work for the well -being of older people. In addition, the 19th volunteer award 2024 was awarded at the event of the event to reward special civic Engagement.
The award winners include Andreas Weiss from SV Blau Weiss Berolina Mitte 49 e.V., who has contributed significantly to the development of the women's and girls department. Volunteers from the Trans*Sexworks project and David Tilcher project were also awarded by the contact and advice center of Klik e.V.
A special prize was awarded to the “Trialogs” project for their work to promote intercultural dialogue between Palestinians and Jews. District Councilor Carsten Spallek praised the commitment of the honored and emphasized the importance of her valuable work.
