German campaign days sustainability 2024: Mitte makes the future!
The German campaign days in 2024 are just around the corner, and the city library Mitte Berlin actively takes part. From September 18 to October 8th, visitors have the opportunity to take part in various sustainable actions and to work for a better future.
A central topic during the campaign days is upcycling. Workshops present creative ideas on how old jeans can be converted into new bags, how music instruments are created from garbage or how to design individual notebooks from old book pages. In addition, the library invites you to a clothing exchange party, plant exchanges and a reading. The author Kristina Heldmann will present her children's book "Without Eis No Eisbär".
The German campaign days take place as part of the European sustainability week and aim to promote commitment to sustainability in Germany, to direct public attention to the topic and to inspire more people to act.
