German Action Days Sustainability 2024 in Berlin-Mitte: Upcycling, readings & more!
The district mayor of Mitte, Stefanie Remlinger, announces the upcoming German campaign days sustainability, which will take place from September 18 to October 8th. The aim of this campaign is to motivate people to work for a more sustainable world and to design a better future for everyone.
In the Berlin-Mitte city library, visitors can expect a variety of offers as part of the campaign days. Various aspects of sustainable action are shown and invited to participate. The focus is particularly on upcycling. Workshops show how to make new bags from old jeans, how musical instruments can be created from garbage and how to make creative notebooks from old book pages. In addition, there is a clothing exchange party, plant exchanges and the author Kristina Heldmann will introduce her children's book "Without ice not a polar bear".
The campaign days sustainability as part of the European sustainability week have been taking place since 2015. The goal is to appreciate exemplary commitment throughout Germany, to draw public attention to sustainability and inspire more people to act sustainably.
Further information on the various promotions and appointments can be found on the website of the German Action Days Sustainability 2024 in the Berlin-Mitte City Library.
