American lazy brood of the bees in Berlin-Mitte fought and lifted

On May 15, 2023, a restricted area in Berlin Mitte was set up due to the outbreak of the American foul brood of the bees. After all beehives in the restricted area have been examined twice, the American lazy brood has now been declared as expired and the restricted area can be removed again. The lifted blocking district in Mitte extends over the Bartningallee, Lüneburger Straße 12-30, John-Foster-Dulles-Allee and the road of June 17 in the north, the eastern border of the Großer Tiergarten, Lennéstraße and Potsdamer Straße in the east, the Kurfürstenstraße in the south and Hardenbergplatz, the western border of the large border to the railway trains and Klopstockstrasse in the west.

Despite the cancellation of the first blocking district, there remains another blocking district in Gesundbrunnen, which is independent of the cancellation of the first restricted area. This includes the area within the district borders, limited in the north by Provincial Street and Kühnemannstrasse, in the east through Nordbahnstraße and Steegerstrasse, in the south from Osloer Straße 76 to the district border and in the west by Reinickendorfer Straße, Reginhardstraße and Ritterlandweg.

It should be noted that more detailed information can be found in the published general order and in the press release on October 20th.

According to a report by www.berlin.de, there is currently another restricted area in Berlin Mitte due to the outbreak of the American faulbre of bees in Gesundbrunnen. This second restricted area remains and is independent of the cancellation of the first blocking area.
