Manfred Moslehner, an 84-year-old man who has lived in his house since he was born, is about to clear his home that belongs to an investor. The investor terminated Manfred Moslehner's rental agreement and submitted an eviction action. Despite the offer of implementation apartments, Manfred Moslehner rejected the move.

The courtroom in the district court of Wedding was full of supporters of Manfred Moslehner, including his friends from the tenant community on Steinberg, politician and journalists. The judge who carries out the first evacuation procedure shows understanding of the Situation and in question whether she really has to make a judgment or whether a solution can still be found.

The settlement on Steinberg was bought in 2010 by an investor who wanted to modernize the houses and decreased expensive. The tenants, including Manfred Moslehner, resisted the modernization plans because they could not pay the higher rent. Despite the pressure from the investor, Manfred Moslehner refused to have necessary work on his house.

The future of Manfred Moslehner and his house now depends on the court's decision. The judge will have to listen to the arguments on both sides and make a decision. One last hope is that a member of the Bundestag tries to mediate to find a solution for Manfred Moslehner.
