Massive police operations in Berlin: 57 arrests in Pro-Palestine demo!

In a pro-Palestinian elevator in Berlin-Charlottenburg on Saturday evening, there were tumultural scenes. The police temporarily arrested 57 people, when demonstrators chanted criminally relevant exclamations and attacked police officers and an interpreter used. It is estimated that up to 1,000 people demonstrated. Smaller, pro-Israeli counter-demonstrations took place nearby, while they were thrown onto these stones and bottles.

The police were forced to dissolve the pro-Palestinian demonstration near Breitscheidplatz because there were repeated crimes and were not present. A total of 25 criminal complaints were reimbursed, and there were 34 advertisements due to alleged administrative offenses. At least one arrested person had to be taken to the hospital due to breathing difficulties. Details of the incident are still sparse, but the situation remains tense, reports www.tagesschau.de .
