Starting shot for the room for participation in Marzahn-Hellersdorf

Since the end of 2023, the office Stadt + Handel has been working on behalf of the Marzahn-Hellersdorf district of Berlin on the establishment of the district for participation. In addition to the launch of the website "www.berlin.de/mh-dialog" or the implementation of workshops for administrators, the exchange and networking with the citizens are currently in focus. It starts in April 2024: The room for participation comes to the district!

The mobile participation in Marzahn-Hellersdorf is electrically equipped with a special participation wheel, which was designed by the Berlin Cargorad specialist Isicargo in cooperation with the duo: Bau from Luckenwalde and Atelier Hurray from Berlin. The bike will appear in the district for the first time after a stopover at the Veloberlin bicycle festival in mid-April 2024. On Tuesday, April 16, 2024, at 10:45 a.m., the room for participation is officially inaugurated on Alice Salomon-Platz in front of the district mayor Nadja Zivkovic.

The collaboration with the colleagues of the social space -oriented planning coordination and space for participation is expected positively by everyone involved and should ensure stronger citizen participation in the district.
