Last year 2023, the registry office Marzahn-Hellersdorf certified a total of 844 births. Of these children, 489 received a first name, 310 two first names and 42 children were entered with three first names. "More than three first names" were only recorded for three children. The most popular first names were "Emilia", "Mia" and "Anton", followed by "Charlotte" and "Emma" among the girls as well as "Felix", "Louis" and "Noah" among the boys.

Interestingly, the name "Alexander" was only chosen three times and thus ranked 14th in the list of the most popular boy names. Likewise, only three children with the name "Anh" were entered, which corresponds to the 27th rank. In the girls, only three children received the name "Alisa" in 13th place, and the name "Adelia" in the 23rd place was only chosen twice in the entire district.

In addition to the most popular first first names, there are also clear favorites for second first names. "Sophie" received seven girls as additional first names, while "Elias" with five awarded the field to the boys clearly.

This information offers an insight into the current first name trends in the Marzahn-Hellersdorf district. It is interesting to see how the choice of name changes over time and which names are particularly popular. The top names and their frequency are listed in the following table.
