Summer challenge in Erich-Weinert library: borrowing the media and collecting stamps
From July 1 to September 13, 2024, an exciting campaign takes place in the “Erich Weinert” district library at Helene-Weigel-Platz 4 in Berlin. During this time, children and adolescents can borrow media and read so many books, listen to audio books and watch films as they want. You will receive a stamp in your summer challenge stamp book for every media genre consumed. As soon as you have completed a medium, you can come to the library, have a tablet with the creative app Digiclass and solve a small task for your medium to get another stamp.
During the summer vacation, the stamps can be picked up on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. In addition, they are available on Wednesdays and Fridays from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. There are a total of six club meetings, on Thursdays from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., in which media is discussed, the Digiclass app is used and spent time together. Supervisors are always available and look forward to a lively participation.
As a crowning glory, a final party will take place on September 19, 2024 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., in which participants receive certificates and awards and a colorful program for the children and their families is offered.
