New district center Hellersdorfer Terrassen opens as a meeting place
On Friday, May 24, 2024, the new “Hellersdorfer Terrassen” district center will open in Hellersdorf Nord. This should not only be a meeting point for the neighborhood, but also offer diverse cultural, leisure and social offers. In addition to creative workshops for children and cultural events for older people, a language café, various advice and sports courses are planned. The residents are cordially invited to take part in the opening and to get to know the district center.
The coordinator: Inside of the center, Teona Stoye-Asatiani, Daniel Bernstein and Erik Legat, emphasize that the goal of the district center is to create a lively atmosphere in which people of different ages and different origins feel welcome. They are enthusiastic to be able to present this new community center which offers space for exchange, education and support.
The funding of the Hellersdorfer Terrassen district center takes place by supporting the Berlin Senate and the European Commission. The center of the center is in the middle of Life e.V., which already operates two other district centers in the district.
The opening of the district center is an important step to strengthen the local community and promote social interaction in Hellersdorf North. Due to the diverse offers, residents should have the opportunity to network, learn new skills and benefit from the various support offers.
