New health center in the Kienberg forum offers comprehensive advice

On Tuesday, April 2, 2024, the integrated health center (IGZ) will open its contact point in the Kienberg forum. This innovative project aims to advise and accompany people on further health issues in order to find the best preventive measures to maintain their health. The outpatient and inpatient medical care cannot always perform this service, so the IGZ is an important addition, especially for people who have difficulties to find their way around the jungle of offer.

The Senate Department for Science, Health and Care has launched a program for the establishment of integrated health centers, and the Marzahn-Hellersdorf district office has successfully applied to establish the IGZ in the Kienberg forum. The official opening of the advice offer is planned for April 8, 2024. District City Councilor Gordon Lemm emphasizes the necessity of the IGZ in a district, which is one of the worst supplied districts in terms of home and specialists: inside. The IGZ should link people low -threshold to further health offers and facilitate access to necessary treatments and recommendations.

The new integrated health center is in the immediate vicinity of the KV practice and other health offers opened in October 2023 in the Kienberg forum. The fixed point of contact will be based on the 2nd floor of the forum at the new Grottkauer Straße 3, 12619 Berlin. The IGZ should thus represent an important addition to medical care in Marzahn-Hellersdorf and offer the residents: inside the district easier access to health services.

The following table lists some relevant information about the integrated health center:
