There is currently a summer break in the Marzahn-Hellersdorf senior representative, but soon the committee will start working consultations again. This offers the opportunity to exchange ideas about important topics in senior citizens' work and to develop new perspectives. The representatives of the senior representative are active in various committees and committees of the district and are committed to the needs of older people. The focus is currently on topics such as living for seniors, accessibility in local transport and participation in urban life.

Particular attention is also paid to nationwide legislative projects, such as the amendment to the Senior Mitacification Act and the development of an Alten aid structure law for Berlin.
