Controls in bar and food economies: Ordnungsamt takes stock

on May 27th. and 30.05.2024 the Ordnungsamt Marzahn-Hellersdorf in the district carried out a priority campaign to comply with the Restaurant Act and the Play Ordinance. A total of 17 controls were carried out in bar and food economies. As a result of the campaign, four prohibition orders were enforced, three orders to remove money play equipment and in three cases possible crimes forwarded to the police.

Such measures are of crucial importance to ensure the integrity of gambling and ensure that the legal provisions are observed. Regular checks by the regulatory office are therefore essential to identify and punish any violations.

The cooperation between the Ordnungsamt Marzahn-Hellersdorf, the tax offices II and Marzahn-Hellersdorf and the police officers were of great importance in this campaign. The colleagues were available for administrative assistance and supported them in carrying out the controls. Thanks to their willingness, the controls could run smoothly and without major incidents.

The control and enforcement of the legal provisions in the gaming sector are important tasks of the state authorities to ensure the security of the citizens and the integrity of the game. It is to be welcomed that the Ordnungsamt Marzahn-Hellersdorf takes this task seriously and conducts regular actions to check the compliance with the regulations.
