Experience history: Guided tours through Berlin's regional museums
This weekend, interesting tours through various locations in Berlin will be on the program, all of which are organized by the Berlin Regional Museum working group.
On Sunday, May 26, 2024, the tour "Stories of the Wuhletal in the change of climate and times" takes place. The meeting point is the forecourt of the S/U-Bahnhof Wuhletal. Here Regina Troeder from the NABU will present small stories and a lot of information from the ice age origin of the Wuhletal to its current form in the change in the climate and times.
On Tuesday, May 28, 2024, interested parties have the opportunity to explore Georg Knorr. The meeting point is Marzahn's S-Bahn station, top on the pedestrian bridge. The historical factory location, monument protected since 1995, has experienced a moving company and production history in three different social systems. Building historian Dr. Oleg Peters will lead the participants through 85 years of company history.
At the end of Thursday, May 30, 2024, the leadership “School of the Future” takes place. The meeting point is Erich-Kästner-Straße 39. Here Adam Page and Eva Hertzsch from NGBK will lead the participants to three educational locations in Hellersdorf and show how rapidly and radically transformations can be in the large settlement.
