Together for a clean city: large cleaning in Marzahn-Hellersdorf!

This weekend Marzahn-Hellersdorf will be cleaner again, because the World Cleanup Day is just around the corner. Together with Putzick Mahe - Alliance for our environment, all citizens, citizens, neighborhoods and nature lovers are invited to become active and to eliminate garbage in the district. Under the motto "We make large pure!" Different collection campaigns take place in different neighborhoods.

The Putzick Mahe's actions offer the participants the opportunity to free their surroundings from waste on September 20 and 21, 2024. Meeting points include Blumberger Damm 231 and Glauchauer Straße. All necessary utensils such as grabs, gloves and garbage bags are provided on site, and even a small food is offered. The cleanups are not only effective for environmental protection, but also promote the cohesion and sense of community.

Various other cleanups are also planned, including promotions from the DRK-KV Berlin-Nordost e.V. am Raoul-Wallenberg-Str., From the animal shelter Berlin on the Hundeswiese, from the daycare center on the pond chain and from Kiek in-Social Dienste gGmbH in Rosenbecker Straße.

The World Cleanup Day is a worldwide movement against pollution, in which Marzahn-Hellersdorf is also involved. These actions set a sign of cleanliness and quality of life in the district. From September 20 to 30, 2024, the Berlin volunteer days also offer numerous opportunities to get involved in non -profit projects.
