First Second-Hand Market for Kids at Mahlsdorf Family Center on April 28, 2024

Next Sunday, April 28, 2024, the Mahlsdorf family center invites you to the first second-hand market for children's things this year from 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. The event offers a variety of stands where children's things, toys and much more are offered. When the weather is nice, the market takes place in the garden and attracts visitors with a cozy coffee gossip and a children's puppet play from 4:00 p.m. Interested parties can register from April 8th to operate a stand on the market. The stand rent is seven euros for stands up to two meters in length, and a homemade cake is also expected. At larger stands, the stand rent is adjusted accordingly. It is recommended to bring your own table, a clothes rail and chairs to design the stand according to your own ideas.

The family center pays a space usage fee for the event in the district center and invites the community to meet on this day and to stock up or sell with used children's things.

It is nice to see how local communities organize such events that promote the gathering and exchange between families and neighbors. Second-hand markets are not only a sustainable way to continue using used objects, but also an entertaining way to spend time with others and maybe make one or two bargains.

In the following table, some information about the event is summarized:
