The Marzahn-Hellersdorf volunteer agency calls for a broad commitment to develop creative project ideas for the promotion of tolerance, solidarity and democracy. People of all ages, initiatives and free carriers are invited to actively participate in the design of a diverse and tolerant society.

The range of topics includes different areas such as citizen participation, strengthening civil society structures, educational work on racism and anti-Semitism, fighting HATE Speech, promoting gender equality, fact-checking, environmental protection and climate protection as well as promoting diversity and tolerance in society.

Project suggestions can be funded with up to 600 euros and should be implemented in the districts of Marzahn and Biesdorf. Applications are up to 12. September 2024 possible, and the project start can take place at the earliest from September 18. This time planning enables a hands-on campaign to take part in the Berlin Volunteer Days from 20 with the support of the campaign fund. to implement until September 30, 2024.

The volunteer agency offers advice for those who already have concrete ideas, but need support in filling out the application. An online workshop entitled "From the idea to the application" takes place on 11. September 2024 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. . Interested parties can register for the workshop by email.

The Action Fund Partnerships for Democracy is supported by the Marzahn-Hellersdorf district office and live as part of the federal program "Democracy!" promoted by the Federal Ministry for Family, Seniors, Women and Youth. This commitment helps to realize a colorful variety of projects that strengthen democracy and contribute to tolerance in society.
