On Monday, September 30, 2024 it was finally time: The new citizens' office on Riesaer Straße has opened its doors! However, the big step into the future was overshadowed by a small but important detail - the conversion of the canteen did not finish in time! Despite this small hurdle, the office is now housed on the 5th floor and ready to work on the concerns of the Berliners.

The new citizens' office shines in fresh gloss and is easy to find. Access takes place directly and comfortably through the middle entrance in Riesaer Straße. Here the friendly gatekeepers are ready to show the path not only to the citizens' office, but also to other important institutions such as the youth welfare office and the social welfare office.

The office hours of the offices are optimally coordinated so that everything works smoothly. Four committed employees are always available in the citizens' office who actively support three switches and one consulting space. The waiting area, as well as on the 5th floor, is equipped with a modern call system and offers barrier -free access via an elevator directly from the entrance.

It has never been so easy to book an appointment! Citizens can easily make an appointment online via the central appointment system of the Berlin State of Berlin - regardless of the district they live in. But be careful: a visit without an appointment is usually not possible! However, some services must also be done digitally or in writing, which makes it easier to go to the citizens' office.

  • Monday: 08: 00-12: 00 and 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
  • Tuesday: 12:30 p.m.-6:00 p.m.
  • Wednesday: 8:00 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 1:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m.
  • Thursday: 12:30 p.m.-6:00 p.m.
  • Friday: 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

The first services are ready: Whether moving, changing residence or identification matters - everything can be done quickly and easily here:

If you have an appointment, you should find yourself in the waiting area at least 5 minutes before the agreed time. Always have the process number ready - this is how personal talks becomes child's play. And if you cannot make an appointment, please remember to cancel in good time so that others can use it.
