The Berlin city cleaning (BSR) organizes the BSR Kieztage every year, which not only make our surroundings cleaner, but also offer valuable opportunities for the neighborhood. This aspect of exchange not only promotes sustainable use of resources, but also strengthens the sense of community among the residents of Marzahn-Hellersdorf.

The disposal options on the neighborhood days include bulky waste, old wood, mattresses, electrical appliances, old textiles and well-preserved objects for the exchange and gib market. However, there are also things that should not be brought there, such as old tires, varnishes or contaminated wood, as these have to be disposed of at special recycling stations.

Overall, the initiative shows how important it is to take responsibility for your own environment and actively contribute to improving the cityscape.
